AAQ workshop - Childers April 28th and 29th

Members workshop day one.

This session will cover various issues and implications associated with Aquaculture and Workplace Health & Safety legislation. James Cupples from Farm Safe Queensland will talk at the Isis Club on Risk Assessment Process and after lunch a practical way to use this on a farm. He will most likely be able to give everyone an idea of what will be looked at in the up coming Aquaculture audits and provide everyone with a Aquaculture checklists to assist you on your own farm. A farm walk at a grow out fish farm has been arranged, where the farmsafe instructor can point out potential WPH&S operating  issues and how best to address them. This will hopefully  jog participants memories of their own farm and thus provide a better end result.

The outcome expected from this day is that each farm will be able to implement a set of protocols and procedures which will address any potential WPH&S issues.

Members will be given access to electronic documents to use on their own farm.
