Ian Wells is currently seconded to Queensland Health Environmental Health unit Food Safety and Food Standards.  Subsequent to this Ian was working with Safe Food Production Queensland where he co-developed the AAQ’s Code of Practice for Food Safety and still strongly supports and advises on this initiative.  Ian has been the Commercial Manager of the Fisheries Research Development Corporation’s National Seafood Centre and a research technician, quality and food safety consultant during over twenty years with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries.  Ian is passionate about food and is a great supporter of the Queensland Seafood and Aquaculture industry.
