Aquaculture - a sustainable source of protein.

AAQ President Bruce Sambell, (pictured left) has made the bold claim that this will be the most informative conference for the freshwater finfish sector for years. The message simply is, " DON'T MISS THIS ONE  " Just click on the presenters link below and follow the links for each presenter, and you will see for your self that the martial being presented this year is excellent, extra meaty. ( Or is that fishy? ) This is the first time people like Dr. Stuart Rowland, Dr Brett Ingram and Brett Herbert have presented at the same time and with such quality material. These are only 3 of the top quality presenters at this years conference.

Meet and speak with experienced professionals during the breaks and industry dinner on Saturday night.  Check out the latest aquaculture technology and hardware at the aquaculture trade show. "My last conference, as conference coordinator, after over 10 years of conferences, and is going to be the best !" Sais Bruce.

Weekend conference

Presenters for the weekend conference  are selected to provide a mix of industry people, and government fisheries and aquaculture experts, passing to the audience the latest and most useful information.

Trade Show

Through-out the three day event there will be a trade show made up of company's who supply equipment and services relevant to our sector of aquaculture. This is an ideal opportunity to take a close-up look at equipment, and services, often only seen in a catalogue.

NOTE: Exhibitors information page. If your company is interested in exhibiting at this trade show click here.
Trade Auction

After the industry dinner an auction of aquaculture equipment will be conducted. These auctions have proved to be very very popular. Plenty of bargains will be snapped up by successful bidders. These auctions have become a regular part of the proceedings. Our sponsors have again pledged many items for the auction.

AAQ Industry Dinner

On Saturday night there is an industry dinner. This has been a feature of the conference for a number of year's. This is a casual dinner where everyone has the chance to get to know each other. This is another great opportunity for the flow of information and a bit of valuable networking.
