FRESHWATER AQUACULTURE CONFERENCE and WORKSHOP

August 29-31 Surfers Paradise

If freshwater finfish are your interest this one is for you!

A three-day event, to be opened by the Minister for Primary Industries and Rural Communities, Henry Palaszczuk includes a full day workshop on native freshwater fish culture, including monitoring water quality and the latest research outcomes. Plus two full days of the countries top people presenting the most up-to-date developments on all aspects of freshwater finfish aquaculture, including marketing and industry future. Complemented by a trade show by some of the countries leading aquaculture suppliers. Registration also includes attendance at the AAQ industry dinner and annual aquaculture hardware auction.

This is an industry event run by industry for industry. Meet the people in the business. Find out how it's done, what are the pit falls and what is the future for fresh water finfish aquaculture

Visitors welcome!

This year the annual conference and workshop will be at the Mercure Resort Surfers Paradise. The Mercure resort is a “family” resort, extremely children friendly. The resort is in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Alternative accommodation will be easy, in fact there is a back-packers hostel about 200 meters form the venue. Accommodation of all types and prices can be found with-out having to travel too far, and the BEACH is less than 5 minutes walk away.

You must be a financial member of the AAQ at the time of the workshop. You can register for just the workshop, or just the conference, or both. To register click here;   Register

Check-in begins 7.30am
