Hanwood Fish Hatchery is one of the oldest established fish hatcheries in Queensland. Max and Deirdre Cluff own and operate this growing business. Hanwood Fish Hatchery is situated at Murgon in the South Burnett region of Southern Queensland.

Hanwood Fish Hatchery have established a reputation for quality fingerlings and reliability of supply. The farm has been substantially expanded over the past few years and now has the capacity to produce up to 5 million fingerlings per annum.

New freshwater and saltwater hatchery facilities have been built which now can cater for the spawning and larvae raring of 14 species of Australian Native Fish.

To provide you with the highest quality stocks and to ensure maximum survival -

• Fingerlings for commercial grow out are weaned to aquaculture feed before delivery.
• Fingerlings for recreational fish stocking into impoundments and rivers are pond reared and well suited to natural environment survival

Our specially designed transporters will deliver your order in great condition. Transport vehicles can ship up to 100,000 fingerlings at a time or alternatively transport is made via air freight or courier service.
