WELCOME TO BUSY AT WORK APPRENTICESHIP SERVICES.

BUSY At Work is an Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC). We are contracted to the Australian Federal Government, to promote employment opportunities through Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

Busy At Work administers the financial incentives to support companies to train their staff.  These financial incentives are paid to Employers to support Australian Employees to gain nationally recognised qualifications.

Busy At Work offers support to both Employers/Employee, to help our workforce address the challenges as we emerge from out of the current economic situation. There is financial support for employers, for new workers as well as existing workers. We offer our services at no-cost to your business. One of the biggest challenges is ensuring all employers like Aquaculture Association of Queensland and its members and employees are fully conversant with any financial assistance that is available to them.

For example, If an AAQ members were to employ an eligible trainee in Certificate III in Seafood Industry (Aquaculture).  The Employer may receive Federal Government incentives of up to $4000.  This incentive would be paid to the Employers in two instalments; one of $1500 which is paid three months after the commencement date with a further $2500 on completion of this qualification. Because this is a Traineeship in an area that is deemed as ‘emerging’ the employer in this instance would also gain another $1,100 in incentives for Innovation.

The employer is incentivised to train their staff (new or existing). What do the Trainees receive from this? They receive a Nationally Recognised Qualification which will assist with their future employment and training opportunities. There are also State Government incentives that may apply in addition to these Federal.

What does BUSY At work Do?

BUSY At Work will guide employers and their staff through the identifying an appropriate qualification, organise the training contract and assist with all the paperwork.  We lodge the paperwork on behalf of the Trainee/Apprentice and the employer and assist with finding a suitable training organisation to deliver the training at a time and location that best to suits the business, the Employer, the Employee and the RTO. This training can be on-the-job, in a classroom or combination of both.   We make tracking of participants and forecasting of funding a breeze.   BUSY At Work can also give the employee access to our 24/7 online reporting system so that they are in control and have visibility at all times. One of our friendly and informed staff will make progress visits at the 6 and 12 month marks to ensure everything is operating effectively. We will even send reminders about your incentives.

Which Qualification?

There are over 600 qualifications to choose from so there are many options for improving your employees’ skill levels.
