This year the AAQ annual conference and
annual workshop returns to it's old home in Hervey Bay. The Kondari
Resort has been booked for this years event. In 2001 and 2002 we held
our annual event at the Kondari Resort. The facilities are excellent and
very professional. |

The workshop on Friday is
designed to give delegates the maximum opportunity to gain in depth
understanding of the most pressing issues facing our sector. This
workshop will focus on two major points. One is the new food
safety issues and how AAQ members can use the new AAQ Food Safety Plan
to meet these new standards. The other main issue is the pending
hatchery quality assurance plans being considered. As
well as these vital issues, the latest aquaculture products and
equipment will be demonstrated by Australia's leading experts during
a series of product presentations. |
| |
 |
|
Presenters for
the weekend conference are selected to provide a mix of
industry people, and government fisheries and aquaculture experts, passing to the
audience the latest and most useful information.
|
 |
|
Through-out
the three day event there will be a trade show made up of
company's who supply equipment and services relevant to our sector of aquaculture.
This is an ideal opportunity to take a close-up look at equipment,
and services,
often only seen in a catalogue.
NOTE: Exhibitors information page. If your company is interested in exhibiting at this trade show

For the past couple of years we have been able to
partake of our own products at the industry dinner. Once again this
year we will be able to sample our wares. This year our key speaker,
Peter Howard (celebrity chef) will be a feature at our annual industry dinner. |
|
|
| |
 |
| |
After the
industry dinner an auction
of aquaculture equipment will be conducted. These auctions have
proved to be very very popular. Plenty of bargains will be snapped
up by successful bidders. These auctions have become a regular part
of the proceedings. Our sponsors have again pledged many items for
the auction. |
